Customer Review: Seems to work, but your house will still smell

I have just purchased and used this product for the first time. I can't say that this product does not do what it claims to do, however it is so strongly scented that the after-effects of using it might well be worse than the pet smell. I'm not sure if the cat smell is gone, or just covered up under heavy perfumes. Just a very light sprinkling of the product in one half of one room has spread the scent throughout the entire house, basement included. I have all the windows open now in hopes that it fades quickly. I'd honestly rather have the pet smell.
An unscented version of the product would be great. It really did seem to help release cat hair from the carpet.
