I've been using Aquasana for 3 years. The water tastes good.
After using my original unit for 2 years, I moved. I incorrectly installed the new unit with constant high pressure going to it. It soon broke, but when we realized our plumbing error, we bought a new unit and also installed the optional under-sink upgrade (available from Aquasana; Amazon may not have it). That was 1 year ago and it has been working wonderfully ever since.
I recommend the undersink upgrade for reducing clutter around the sink.
