Product Reviews of Anti-Monkey Butt Powder Anti-Friction Plus Sweat AbsorberProduct Review: Gold Bond works better, and smells better. Summary: 2 Stars
Gold Bond works much better than this stuff. It cools better and seems to absorb better too. Anti Monkey Butt does nothing that Gold Bond or the generics don't, and I don't like the fragrance at all. It smells like a diaper mixed with perfume. The monkey butt gimmick is just that- a gimmick to get you to buy a mediocre product. I'll be going with another brand.
Product Review: Heat Rash Relief Summary: 4 Stars
Anti Monkey Butt 06017 Anti-Monkey Butt
Purchased for my husband who works outside in the the heat all day. While it didn't completely stop the irritation from heat rash, he stated it provided better results than any of the many other products he tried. Also, once you rub it on, you have to literally wash it off. The powder really adheres to the skin. Even when he was really sweaty the powder stayed in place.
Product Review: Lots better than the generics Summary: 4 Stars
I havent tried Gold Bond. And I was using Zeasorb. This absorbs as well and smells a lot better.
Both AMB & Zeasorb absorb MUCH better than the dollar store powder in my experience. Zeasorb just smells terrible.
Product Review: Love the Name Summary: 4 Stars
Anti Mokey But Powder -What to say, talcum powder is talcum powder. What is in a name? Everything I guess, because that was the sole reason I purchased this product. It makes a cute gift for the guy/gal in your life that you just want to make laugh.
Product Review: Prevents All Symptoms Of Simian Buttock Inflammation Summary: 4 Stars
Anti Monkey-Butt Powder (or, In Spanish, "El Talco Anti Monkey Butt"...that's really what it says on the container) is fairly irresistible for people with deranged senses of humor. After all, if you need talcum powder, it might as well be able to prevent all the symptoms of simian buttock inflammation, right?
As far as the product goes, it's really as good as any other talc-based powder. It does have calamine, which might give it a slight edge over other powders, but I have noticed no significant performance differences. Interestingly, the ingredients don't list calamine separately; they only list talc and fragrance. Please be informed that, mercifully, the fragrance is nice and flowery, and not of monkey butt.
