I do not like to use deet so have been trying different natural products.
I liked the version of this in the tin, but it was far too messy so was thrilled to find it in this push-up stick on Amazon, long before our health food store started carrying it.
I have used this for various outdoor activities and outings, including camping. For Pacific NW mosquitos, it seems to work very well.
The smell of citronella normally makes me gag, but I find the smell of this product to be surprisingly pleasant. It is a little greasy going on, but does actually feel good for the skin as it soaks in.
It does have to be reapplied frequently, but this is no inconvenience if it means no bites!
