I have purchased quite a few clippers in the past and they just never seem to last. I only cut my husband and son's hair so it isn't like they were getting used constantly. I decided to purchase this one based on reviews of other clippers of this same brand. It doesn't pull on their hair like my other ones did. It also seems to have a much stronger motor. The blade does get a little bit warm after giving them both a haircut, but not uncomfortably so. I love having the light - it actually does help me to see a little better. I also really like the idea that I can buy replacement blades when they dull. Overall, I think this is going to be a really good clipper!
