I just had my first hair cut using this clipper yesterday. The blade is sharp and the motor is powerful. It doesn't pull my hair and cut very smoothly. Make sure you apply the oil that comes in the kit on the blade before you cut the hair. No problem on the clipper so far. Very happy with the product.

The Andis Promotor clipper is engineered with a unique pivot motor which provides 4 times the power and is 20% lighter than a conventional magnetic motor clipper. The extra power makes this clipper especially effective at cutting wet or damp hair in addition to cutting dry hair. This clipper comes as part of a 20 piece at home kit. The kit includes: a durable storage case, 10 attachment combs (sizes 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", blending comb, and left & right taper combs), a fade brush, a ?How to? DVD, stainless steel shears, a barber cape, a barber comb, a blade guard, and lubricating blade oil.
