These are great support socks. When working I am on my feet for anywhere from six to thirteen hours constantly. I wear these socks in warm weather when wearing shorts. These socks are comfortable to wear while providing enough compression to keep swelling in check.
I machine wash and dry them with no apparent problems. They seem to last even without hand washing. I would recommend them to anyone that experiences swelling in their legs, feet or ankles caused by prolonged periods of standing or walking.

It is thicker than a standard nylon/lycra sock, with additional thickness around the entire foot area, giving a new level of comfort in a support sock. Ideal for athletics, walking shoes, golf and any casual or sporting activity. The thickness is about that of an athletic sock, so no need to worry about larger sized shoes. 20-30 support is generally referred to as Firm or Extra Firm, and this sock can be used as a replacement for any 20 compression support sock, or as a replacement for TED's.
