I've been a nurse ,running up and down on cement floors for 20yrs+ My feet have suffered and I continue to struggle to maintain them. I've tried numerous over the counter items in order to support my high arches and relieve my pain. I have custom made orthotics and have Brooks Addiction shoes fitted by the Running Company store and Rx'd by podiatrist. My feet even after soaking in hot tubs, using Epson salt.. still feel beaten to a pulp. In my job I don't get to sit down except to chart for most part..I believe I have fascitis and possibly arthritis in joints that pop etc..when I 1st get up..When I 1st started with these my feet hurt and after having worn them a week straight, I believe my feet are feeling much better, less pain upon arising and actually feel somewhat massaged from these. I'm very happy so far and have great hope. These really reduce impact but are not arch supports. They don't claim to be..if you need arch support buy it separate and wear these on top. I'm ready to order a 2nd pair since I like to keep work shoes (and germs) separate..
