My son has extremely dry skin on his arms legs and neck through torso Oct.-April. AmLactin is the only product we have found that works; it's pricey, but it's worth every penney. My son used to look like an alligator during the months I mentioned; it was extremely embarrassing at school, etc. He puts it on in the evening and showers the next morning and it's like he sheds the alligator skin; the skin underneath is soft and beautiful like a babies. Try it and you will agree; it is the best lotion available!

AmLactin Cream is a special formulation of 12% lactic acid, neutralized with ammonium hydroxide, to form ammonium lactate that provides a cream pH of 4.5 - 5.5. Lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid, has been reported as an effective, naturally-occurring humectant in the skin.
