I guess it's one of those things. This is the pad my mother used, and therefore the pad I grew up with, and to this day I buy nothing else. I never have issues with odor, leakage, or non-sticking. Don't get me wrong--NOTHING makes for a "happy period", but Always is a brand I can trust.
