I'm 56 and have been taking Alli the past 6 months. I've lost 40 pounds and feel better than I have in many years (from a size 16 to a size 10). I recommend starting the food plan at least 3 days before taking the pills to detox your system. Once you get used to the low fat diet, you'll feel so good you won't crave those fatty cheeseburgers and french fries anymore. It's definitely a life change and not a diet. I have been taking alli for just a little over 5 weeks and I have lost a few ounces over 11 lbs. This is the second time I have taken it , the first time I lost over 65 lbs. that was when it was still prescription only. I slowly gained about 22 lbs. I slowly gained back 22 lbs. about three years after I stopped taking it. So I decided to order me the over the counter version. It is money well spent . I'd like to add If you do follow the lower calorie intake watch your fat grams it does work. IF you continue to eat till you are over full or you eat all kinds of fatty foods it will have ILL effects_ it is a REAL reminder to watch what you eat as far as smelly gas and nasty poops go... BUT that is why you are taking it. NO pill will do all the work for you and still allow you to eat to mantain your hefty wieght. I see the results and I would recommend alli to anyone who needs to loose a few pounds to many pounds. I know I feel better and my smaller clothes look nice on me. Ordered first bottle of MyAlli Feb. 2009. Checked with my Dr. & he said to follow MyAlli's instuctions & diet. I have lost 30 lbs. with absolutely no ill effects. Followed diet & instructions and never looked back. Thought at 74 (a young 74) I was doomed to being overweight. Not so, feel great, get many compliments, more energy.
