Product Review: Works perfectly for kids' room.

I searched all over for a good air purifier and found that this model is the 2nd best purifier. Since I put this in my kid's room she stopped coughing. The unit is bit noisy if you put the level to two but you'll get used to it after the first few nights. I found level two to be perfect set for overnight sleep. I own two if this device and I highly recommend it.Product Review: Works well

Online sites rate this Air Purifier as removing over 95% of air borne particles in a controlled situation, making it comparable to $600+ models, and far superior to the products you see on those info-mercials.
I would say this product is great, but you should do your own research.

My wife has dust allergies and we have two cats. She used to have heavy bouts of sneezing and a running nose while in bed at night - We put one of these units running on the 2 setting (out of 4) in the bedroom and her allergies diminished to an extant that we both now get a lot more sleep. We got a second unit for the downstairs.
My only problem with the unit are the controls. The noise increase from the lowest setting 1 (which doesn't seem to have much filtering power) to setting 2 is quite drastic. It took me a while to get used to sleeping with the noise at setting 2. 3 and 4 are too loud for sleeping or daily use - so we only use those when we are cleaning or for freshening up the kitchen from strong cooking odors. I wish there was a dial that allowed for control over the fan strength/noise.
Also - the dust/smell indicators don't seem to be accurate - thus we never use them the auto setting. Ever since we got the units the dust indicator has been on max. I even put the units the outside and in different parts of the house and can never get the indicator to lower from the highest setting no matter how long it runs. This is not a problem however - since I don't use the auto setting.

After much research and wasted money on air filters that simply did not work, I have found an air filter which I am satisfied with and could afford. Even the replacement filters were reasonably priced compaired to the others.
I was discouraged when most of the top rated air purifications systems I was looking at were priced out of my price range; $700 and above, then I happened upon the Aleon and was pleasantly surprised.It was reasonably priced and had an eviormentally friendly ionizer option,features I was looking for.
The Aleon filter when set on 2 creates white noise which even my noise sensative partner can tolerate. I wake up able to breath, feeling refreshed, a first for me. And my partner had to agree that even he was breathing easier in the morning.
I am very satisfied.
