I am a pretty savvy buyer and always do lots of research prior to buying something. After extensive research I decided to purchase this one, partly because it was endorsed by some police departments.
Using it correctly, waiting 20+ minutes after food and drink, etc... turns out this device is highly inaccurate.
I am 220 lbs 6-8' and all the charts say that 4 beers in 2 hours is under the legal limit. Tried this several times after drinking 4 Bud Lights in a 2 hour span and waiting 20 minutes I get reading .21 and other time a .18 which lists a extreme DUI.
Maybe it need calibration but to that extreme? Its brand new.
All in all this is a waste of money and judging by its readings drinking some night time cold medicine would cause a DUI.
Very inaccurate device.

Very well made & does not take long to boot up & only have to blow into it for 5 seconds... Comes in a nice travel case to store in glove compartment ... Comes with extra plastic mouthpieces ... I just wash the same one... Waste of money to throw away the mouthpiece everytime you use one... Gives a clear accurate reading ... Made in Korea which is not as good as made in Japan but better than Made in China or TaiwanProduct Review: works wonderfully

this item works wonderfully.now when we have parties nobody gets their keys until they are under the legal limit.we call them a cab if need be or a designated driver will take them home.this clears everyone conscience in the safety department and puts everyone at ease.would highly recommend to anyone who goes to a party or even out on the town.the life it saves could be yours.thanx..flash
