Product Reviews of Airborne Effervescent Health Formula, Zesty Orange, 30-Count Boxes

Product Review: Keeps me healthy when I travel--and I travel A LOT!
Summary: 5 Stars

I travel frequently to different parts of the world. Not only does Airborne keep me "healthy", so to speak, so that my immune system is functioning at 100% when I arrive at my destination, but the Airborne also helps decrease the affects of jet lag.

No matter whether it is a 6-hour flight or 26-hour marathon of connections, the Airborne makes me feel more refreshed. I have to remind myself to take it every 4 hours on flights (hard to do when you are halfway around the globe and haven't slept well), so I keep my watch on my hometown time and do the countdown that way, at least until I reach my final destination.

This was a real lifesaver on a 34 hour-trip to a South African safari television filming. The rest of my cohorts were dozing in the Land Rover while I was bright-eyed and chipper, able to observe the wildlife around me.

Product Review: My everyday cold remedy
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been using Airborne ever since it came out a few years ago and I absolutely swear by it. Whenever I feel like I am coming down with something I use three of these a day and more often than not it takes care of the cold. I also have a really low immune system so whenever I am in a situation where a lot of people are sick around me I take one a day and have really noticed a decrease in the amount of times I get sick every year. Can't recommend it enough and it really is worth the price.

Product Review: Seems to help...
Summary: 4 Stars

Who can really say how effective this product is? Having been prone to upper respiratory infections recently, I decided to give Airborne a try. It does seem to be making a difference as I am doing better, but I'm not totally convinced Airborne gets all the credit for that. That said, I do think it is a reasonable mixture of ingredients that should be immune system boosters and is worth adding to my diet during the flu season. If you expect a nice warm cup of something good to drink, forget it. I have the orange flavor and it does NOT taste good to me. Maybe I will try lemon next as I hear it's more palatable.

Product Review: Stop Letting Other People Think For You!
Summary: 5 Stars

Airborne works very well for me when I use it consistently for the intended purpose. It has definitely prevented several upper respiratory infections when I have taken it at the first sign and continued to use it for a few days. I am amazed how many people still pay attention to the ridiculous attempts to discredit good supplements with "science." It is even more interesting to see so many people obviously benefitting from products like this who feel that have to leave open the possibility of a placebo effect. Seriously, think for yourself, try things, and if they work just say so! People need to realize that "anecdotal evidence" in not inherently invalid. In fact, many "placebo-controlled double-blind studies" are seriously flawed and are nearly always financed and conducted by entities with inherent conflicts of interest (and often exposed as shams later.) Back to anecdotal evidence: if one person reports that a supplement works it may be true but cannot be relied upon. However, if many people, with no common agenda, report that a supplement works, that information becomes at least as reliable as a "scientific study" if the number of reports is large enough. I have no financial or other interest in this product. I simply hope to cause people to think more independently about their own health. By all means read about studies but do so using critical thinking and recognize that you are getting on side of the story.

BTW: I agree with the reviewer who suggested using this with zinc lozenges/chews. They work very well together for me.

Product Review: Tastes good!
Summary: 3 Stars

Not sure if it works, but it can't hurt, right? The taste is actually not bad. Tastes like less sugary, watered down Sunkist, unlike Emergen-C which is sour is really nasty to me. I'd also recommend only taking this once a day, no use ODing on vitamins.
