I take multiple measurements to make sure im doing it right and at first it varried widely.. Then I actually figured out how to use it and now my readings are pretty consistent. Its really helped me as motivation in my weight loss journey. Sometimes you workout lifting weights and doing exercise and you see your body change but the scale doesnt reflect it.. Thats what this thing is for! For those saying its not accurate if you do your research all skin fold calipers and body fat scales are somewhat inacurate. The most accurate means of measuring is water displacement from what I hear. But I dont think amazon sells the equipment or anyone could afford it if they did!Product Review: Does what it's designed to do

This product looks like it's made of metal in the picture but it's actually made of flimsy white plastic. It isn't the most accurate device either. Save your money or get one of the better models.Product Review: Don't waste your time or money

Not worth the money. This thing is designed to take just 1 body measurement. I've never seen a caliper test that sampled fewer than 3 or 5 locations on the body. The instructions themselves even tell you it's hard to get consistant results. Worst part: Amazon charges you more for the return shipping than the product costs so you can't even return the junk.Product Review: Easy and efficient.

I bought this as an alternate to one of the machines that shoot an electric pulse through your body. The instructions for how to measure were a little difficult to understand so i ended up finding a YouTube video online. I would consider this accuracy at about +/- 3%. But a great tool to get a guestimate of what your body fat is.
