I have tried everything on the market for 30 years of dealing with my cold sores. Abreva is the ONLY product that has ever made a difference. I believe the other reviews are by people who already had an exposed fever blister/cold sore (like two to three days of developing). If it's at that stage, Abreva will not do anything. However, if you put it on right at the first sign, it will basically keep it from breaking out at all. Personally, I keep a tube at home and a tube at work so I can get to it immediately. That is key!!
