Product Review: Gift Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for a friend who could not hold a drink and manipulate the chair at the same time. The cup holder was like giving him an extra hand.
Easy to assemble and attach. No problem with shipping.
Product Review: It works and matches my wheelchair. Summary: 5 Stars
Back in the middle ages (or early 80's), before there were those cool folding wheeled walkers, I used a wheelchair if I had to shepherd my energies to get through 15-hour days, traveling and training. Over 30 years later I still have the chair, which I still use on rare occasions. It needed a good deal of work recently--new tires, shims for the hubs, and a general thorough cleaning. I decided to get a 'real' wheelchair cushion and ordered a $30 4" thick cushion. Bad idea. It's too big. A regular dining chair cushion (without the tufts or buttons, with a non-skid bottom cover) for about $8-$12 still works better. I also ordered this drink cup holder. My favorite of this type is made by Medline, because they're super easy to install, but they've gotten very pricy. WHen I saw this one and noted it matched my chair, I thought to give it a try. It's $10 less and installs easily enough. If you use a chair or a walker, invest in something like this. It's very handy and will save you much effort!
Product Review: Spilled the coffee Summary: 1 Stars
I live in Seattle so a cup of coffee is part of the uniform. This sounded good but that's all. Never quite got the coffee to sit upright. It had a tendency to flip over. Finally the holder got stuck in the wheel of the chair and OOPS. All gone.
Product Review: T. Murphy Summary: 1 Stars
This product attached very nicely to my father-in-laws walker, but I would still not recommend it. Despite the description, this holder WILL NOT HOLD any coffee mug or cup. Believe me, we tried dozens of them and not one worked. Since I bought it so he would quit scalding himself as he took his coffee to the living room, I'm quite disappointed. It holds soda cans just fine, and will work with tall travel mugs. Now I have to go buy him a travel mug so that he can use my original gift.
