Product Reviews of AMO Blink Contacts Lubricating Eye Drops-0.34 ozProduct Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
I was experiancing difficulty with dry eyes and irritation when wearing my contacts. A technician at my doctor's office gave me a sample of this product to try. It is very good. Regular application solves the problem.
Product Review: The Future Of Contact Lens Drops--It works! Summary: 5 Stars
Blink drops does what it claims--refreshes your contacts and eyes, hydrates them, and lasts for at least a couple of hours, often longer. Hyaluronate is the key ingredient, which has been used in ocular surgery since the 1970's, but is relatively new to eye drops. Hyaluronate has a unique molecular structure that traps water in the eye's tear film while the eye is open, but then when blinking, it allows the water to be released and free flowing over the eye. Blink ban be expensive, but it's worth it.
My only grip is the applicator tip--is dispenses a large drop (I much prefer smaller drops--you can always add two if you have to), and sometimes it's a tad fussy about coming out in a nice perfect drop; it helps to gently shake the bottle while it's upside down, before squeezing, therefore forcing all the air to the top and facilitating a perfect drop. All in all it's not that big of a deal, but I've dealt with much better applicator bottles from other manufacturers.
If you're on the fence about Blink, you must try it. It makes your contacts and eyes feel better almost instantly, and it lasts and lasts and lasts and lasts....
Product Review: The best for now; horrible packaging. Summary: 3 Stars
When my favorite CL solution was discontinued, I had to find another. I am allergic to most products, and my doctor recommended this.
It works well. I use just one drop in each eye in the morning and again before bed and I'm good all day (unless I cry).
However, it's brutally expensive (Walmart has the best price). And the packaging is terrible. It's a strange little squeeze bottle that doesn't always dispense properly. It's hard to find in your purse. And, the worst possible thing about it: because it has some kind of little ball or something inside it, you can never tell when it's empty so you always have to carry a new one.
Product Review: The other reviews must work for the company... Summary: 1 Stars
I read the these reviews and foolishly bought this stuff and no way does this product give what the other reviewer claims, must have stock in the company or something. I wear contacts and tried this with contacts in and with contacts out. In each case my eye felt better for no longer than an hour before needing another drop. My primary doctor told me I may need to be on a prescription for my dry eye, restaso? Anyway, he told me to try systane in place of this blink and I get about 4-5 hours relief vs this product. I probably need a prescription medication but don't have the $ for it right now so sticking with the drops.
Product Review: a nice addition to dry-eye therapy Summary: 4 Stars
Oddly, I don't use contact lenses, but and opthamologist friend of mine told me to try these drops. On the plus side: No stinging, no blur, good symptom relief, minimum thickening with repeated uses (most drops based on food thickeners will become glops in the eye over time), good price.
On the negative side: still only lasts 2-3 hours. (like all drops!)
I would recommend this product as being effective.
