I bought this for nursing school, rather than going with the lower end product offered at the school. For about the same price as the school's, I was able to find this on Amazon and it is definitely of very high quality. The hand piece is solid and heavy (but not too heavy to hang on an arm). The dial is very easy to read from any angle, although I have yet to test the lumination feature for low-light situations. Because I was so impressed with the quality of ADC, I even decided to go with an ADC Adscope 603(stethescope) and I am just as pleased. As a student, I couldn't rationalize spending the money on a Littmann at this point and after much research, this Adscope is comparable to the Littmanns and at a much affordable price. The lifetime warranties that accompany both products (which Littmann doesn't even offer) provide a strong sense of confidence in purchasing and owning them. This may be an adult sphygmomanometer, but it is for a small person. This does not fit my husband, for which it was bought for. He needs a large. This does us no good.
