The stethoscope, when it functioned worked very well. Unfortunately the electronics failed and it had to be sent back to the manufacturer within two weeks. Granted it was used frequently, but he did not standup to wear and tear of normal use. I hope this is not going to be an issue down the road when the scope is fixed or replaced.
According to the manufacturer and he has had very few malfunctions of this product, we will see.
