There are various stress relievers on the market such as items that you squeeze (like the Cyber Gel), Isoflex stress ball, Stringy stress ball, Eggsersizer, etc.
However, the most effective ones for me are the Chinese Stainless Steel Exercise balls. Using them for rotating them in your hand, clockwise or counterclockwise, and the frictional sound from them making contact helps me relieve stress. Rotating them palms down has an added effect of strengthening the hands. The calming sound of the bells that emanate also have an added effect.
These items are quite durable and do not rust in most cases (I live in the South and they have yet to rust in the numerous years that I have owned them).
This is a great stress reliever and is helpful for improving range of motion in your hands, fingers and knuckles.
