I had been looking to get an electronic stethoscope for a long time with noise reduction due to a recent experience with diagnosis in a noisy and emotionally charged environment. This product meets my requirements very well - Thank you. The price is very nice and a real bargain compared to the price at the retail stores - how do you manage this?
It is not usable straight out of the box and would require some AAA batteries, I guess. Just received the product now and planning to test after I get some batteries. But there are great reviews out there and am expecting nice results.

Up to 18X the amplification of non-electronic Littmann stethoscope. Offers recording, storage and playback capabilites at normal and half-speed. Advanced sound analysis software provides a visual to what is being via phonocardiogram on IBM compatible PCs or Pocket PC. Transmit digital recordings via infared to other Littmann 4100, 4000 PC compatible or hand held device. Three frequency response modes to choose from for optimal heart and lung ausculation: Bell, Diaphragm, and Extended Range. Includes a built-in LCD display on the chestpiece for easy viewing of the heart rate. Able to digitally record and store sound on six distinct tracks. Includes anatomically correct headset and two AAA alkaline batteries for 20 hours of continuous use.
