These are much better than other brands, they stay in much better even without the band, although we do use it for his swim lessons. My 3 year old had tubes at 15 months and the holes aren't closing, so he will need water protection for years to come. Other brands came out and were actually harder to press in. And since these are tackier (stickier), I can reuse them more often than the other brands as well. Just better overall.Product Review: sticky when wet

I purchased these PUTTY BUDDIES Silicone earplugs, I won't use them again. I put them in my babys ears, and when I went to take them out, there were silicone fragments stuck to her ear. I have now switched to ear plugs from my local drug store.Product Review: works great

very good ear protection from water. had tubes put in my ears and these allowed me to swim and shower. highly recommended.
