Product Review: Poorly made and dangerous

Immediately after purchase, the edges of the plastic lids for the daily dose containers began disintegrating. Small pieces of plastic were mixed in with the medications. I'm young and have good eyesight so I caught the problem before my parents took their medications. An older person with poor eyesight wouldn't catch the problem and would likely swallow pieces of plastic along with their medications. This product is unsafe and should be taken off the market. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE "MED SUN 7" PILL BOX - NOT THE MED-E-LERT AUTOMATIC PILL DISPENSER. SOMEHOW THE ITEM CHANGED.
It is about the size of a long "Puffs" tissue box and about a third of the thickness of the "puffs" tissue box. If you take many vitamins and/or pills at various times of the day, I highly recommend this. There is a lot of room and I love that each day pill box is separate from each other.
It is easy to take the day of pills out of the storage box and store away in your purse, bag, etc... There are 3 places available for dividers which can be removed. The spacing of each divider can not be adjusted as there are only 3 places where a divider can sit within each day box. (I hope that makes sense. That was one question I had before purchasing.)
Now for the negatives:
1. Although I do not mind this, some may. The color box I received is a magenta pink.
2. Each day box has a top that slides off as opposed to a lid that snaps on and off. It mostly does this with ease but can be a little stubborn at times and difficult for an elderly person or one with arthritic hands. It is also not as discreet when used in public. A snap on/off lid for each section of the individual day box would definitely be better.

I need to take a large number of supplements each day to help with my Rheumatoid Arthritis. Some of the capsules are very large (like Fish Oil).I love this large planner. I can remove the dividers inside if I like (I don't). Each day, I pull out the daily container and set it on the counter. (You can keep the daily section only out on the countertop, if you like, and put the rest of the box away.) The lid slides back to allow you to dump the contents out one section at a time, tho you have to remove it and put it in the other direction once the first two sections have been used. This is great for anyone using a wide range of pills and/or supplements each day...each section holds from 5 to 8 capsules. Highly recommended.
